With more than 80 degree and certificate programs, Hudson Valley Community College delivers high-quality education with small class sizes on an urban/suburban campus in New York’s Capital Region.

Recognized by The Aspen Institute as one of the top 10 percent of all community colleges nationwide, in 2009 Hudson Valley received an official visit from then-President Barack Obama, who praised the college’s efforts to build innovative training options in sustainable energy careers.

Hudson Valley’s campus has outstanding facilities for learning and campus life, including a new Outdoor Athletic Complex, a state-of-the-art Science Center and the Gene F. Haas Center for Advanced Manufacturing Skills, which opened in 2019. The college has more than 250 transfer agreements with colleges and universities around the nation, including 18 SUNY institutions.
