Maryville University. Many Connections. One U.

Recognized by Apple as a distinguished school for innovation, leadership, and educational excellence.

There is a lot going on at Maryville University and people are taking notice. Ranked for Best Value, Fastest Growing, and Overall Performance are just a few of the accolades touted about Maryville by organizations like Forbes and Kiplinger, Chronicle of Higher Education, and U.S. News & World Report.

At Maryville, we take pride in everything we do.

Location

Located in an affluent suburb of St. Louis, Missouri, Maryville University offers a safe, friendly campus environment. Our faculty, staff, and students care about one another and foster a family feeling,  providing you with the perfect home away from home.

St. Louis is a thriving metropolitan city with something for everyone. St. Louis is second only to Washington, D.C. for the most number of free attractions including the St. Louis Zoo, Science Center, Art Museum, Missouri History Museum, Anheuser-Busch Brewery Tours, and so much more.

If sports is your thing, we have the St. Louis Cardinals (Major League Baseball), St. Louis Blues (National Hockey League), and our very own Maryville University Saints!

Digital World

Our classrooms are innovative, and all undergraduate students receive an IPad free of charge. You’ll bring your iPad to every class, as it will contain your textbooks, class notes, homework…just about everything you’ll need for school.

Digital World classes are a collaboration between learner and professor. All information from around the globe is just one Google search away, so our professors are adapting the way they teach.

Our innovation doesn’t stop with the classroom. Our newest residential hall – Saints Hall – is equipped with collaborative spaces for students to live and learn together. Maryville University offers three traditional residential halls along with on-campus apartment style living for sophomore to graduate level students.

Life Coaching

Your success at Maryville University and beyond is our #1 goal.  We know the college experience can seem daunting at the start…but we are here to help you every step of the way!

Each first-year student works closely with a life coach who serves as a resource, a guide, a knowledgeable advisor and a mentor… and that’s just the beginning. Your life coach is approachable and accessible. He or she serves as your confidante when questions arise, as your source of support when concerns come about and as your advocate when it’s time to celebrate your successes. Your life coach guides you through academic and career planning decisions, and helps ease your personal transition into the Maryville community.

Dining Facility

When Maryville students aren’t learning, sleeping or having a great time, they are eating in our beautiful dining facility. Maryville University’s Gander Dining Hall has won a four-star rating by the Green Dining Alliance of St. Louis for fully embracing “norms for sustainable restaurant management and operations.” In fact, our dining facility is the first in St. Louis to win this certification.

Getting Involved

Every September, Maryville University takes a day off from classroom learning to give back to the greater St. Louis area. Maryville Reaches Out is an annual event…a day when all students, faculty, staff, and alumni are encouraged to share their time and talent in community service. Students engage in a variety of service opportunities exemplifying Maryville’s commitment to integrating civic engagement with academic pursuits, and promoting social responsibility as a way of life.

Maryville Reaches Out is just one of the many ways to engage with fellow students. With over 100 student clubs and organizations, there is so much to do. And, if you don’t find an organization that fits,  – we will help you start one!
