Pre-Arrival

Studying and living in a new country can be exciting and overwhelming at the same time. It can be challenging to determine the logistics such as what the weather will be like, where you will be living, whether you need to bring summer or winter clothes or what types of food you will be able to purchase just to name the few.

International students are encouraged to arrive in Edmonton a least one week before the first day of class. In that time students will need to make housing arrangements, open a Canadian back account, buy clothing, finalize tuition and fee payments, and learn how to get to the campus. The international student office will assist students with various tips on settling into their new environment with such help on college resources, new culture adaption, campus and downtown tours and living in Edmonton advices all in a unique student orientation held before the first day of school.

Note: international student orientation is mandatory for all international students.
