Accreditation

Southern Maine Community College is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education. SMCC was reaccredited by NECHE in 2018. To learn more about NECHE and the standards of accreditation, visit the NECHE website.

Admissions

The college accepts applications throughout the year. Campus tours and information sessions are held throughout the academic year, and staff are available to meet with prospective students anytime. You can also visit during our Fall and Spring Open Houses.
