I always receive great advice from faculty and staff, and I am thankful for the help I get from my ‘family.’ When I leave next year, I know my Georgia College education and student job I’ve had on campus will help me get the job I’ve always wanted.”
– Karen Ramirez, Colombia, Business major

Downtown Milledgeville, next to the campus, is the home to numerous shops and boutiques, plus a diverse selection of restaurants and bistros featuring American, Asian and European cuisine that are popular with students. One of the largest and most active student clubs on the entire Georgia College campus is the International Club – composed of both international and American students – that offers members fun activities, plus very affordable weekend trips to nearby cities, events, and cultural sites. The club also organizes the very popular annual International Fest (Fall) and International Dinner (Spring) celebrations. The International Club also supports new international students by matching them with a campus “buddy” before arriving at Georgia College.
