Divers Academy is a commercial diving school with over 40 years of established industry trade relationships. We teach both inland and offshore dive disciplines and prepare divers for careers in the oil and gas industry and maritime bridge and construction industry.

Trade Industry Recognized Certifications

Get trade industry recognized commercial diving certifications with our Surface Supplied Air Dive Program and our Mixed Gas and Nitrox Diving Program — training programs based on employer and industry demands. You will be fully prepared for any entry-level commercial diving or underwater welding career you wish to pursue upon graduation.

Advanced Underwater Dive Projects

We provide a unique training environment with advanced underwater projects to develop your skill set. Our Main campus quarry hosts a large underwater welding platform, salvage boat, underwater pipeline system, underwater flange assembly projects, penetration pipe, airlifting and jetting projects, barge spuds, and dive bell in a unique underwater training habitat.

Whereas other commercial diving and underwater welding schools charge separately for each course and then require additional fees for certifications, Divers Academy International^® gives you what you need in one package, at one affordable cost. Financial assistance programs are available to those who qualify.

Unique Dive Quarry Training Environment

Divers Academy offers the most advanced specialized training campus with dive quarries to build, develop, and advance your diversified skill set. Our 60-foot-deep sand quarry provides students with exposure to depths, excellent visibility for training, marine life, and clean environmental conditions.

Enjoy a Custom-Designed Facility

No broken-down piers here! You will learn in a facility that has been custom-designed as a commercial diver school. Everything is on-site: training, instruction, testing, diving, dive barges, dive bells, and hyperbaric chambers.

Dive in an Environment with Visibility

Training tanks, shallow ponds, and murky swamps will never give you the visibility needed to gain and master your skill set. Our 32-acre, 60-foot-deep open water dive quarry provides students the necessary visibility to develop hands-on abilities and confidence in a safe environment.

Get Access to Training Equipment

It’s pointless to learn using old or outdated equipment. At Divers Academy International^®, we use only the latest commercial diving and underwater welding equipment, including ROVs and the Lincoln VRTEX 360. We also include the KMDSI course, the leading dive helmet and repair technician program, as part of our training.

Student Housing Program

Find off-campus student housing through our referral program. If you require housing accommodations, our Student Services will assist you in arranging your housing situation prior to your class start date. Our popular student room for rent program is available within a 5-mile radius of the school. Also available are apartments, campgrounds, and motels.

Safety Comes First

Student safety is always a top priority, and our safety record shows it. We have instructors who are experienced in helping new divers safely learn the ropes. Each day will start with safety brief meetings, not push-ups.
