You are a natural lover of the world and how it operates. You excelled in science in school and have a degree in teaching. We need people like you to become science teachers. You can work with grade school children and teens helping them to absorb the concepts.
Science teachers need to be able to take the complicated subject matter and break it down. Their diligence in doing so will be rewarded by students that are eager to learn. You should be someone who understands science on a general level. Taking university classes in science will better prepare you for your role.
Science teachers can also work in museums, camps, or enrichment programs. There are many nontraditional roles that teachers choose to take on after graduation. You can also work with organizations and nonprofits to help raise awareness about science. Your knowledge and inspiration will help bring science to more people in the world. Cancel
